Energy Security and Climate Change: tensions and synergies
Jessica Jewell is a researcher at the International Energy Agency (IEA), Paris where she is working on a quantitative evaluation of the energy security of IEA Member countries. She is also with the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at the Central European University in Budapest where her research focuses on energy security as a driver for policy change, especially under low-carbon energy transitions. She is a lead author in Energy Security and Energy Scenarios chapters of the GEA; as part of this work she collaborates with and was a visiting researcher at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Vienna. She has also published on the future of nuclear energy and on global energy governance.
